Im continuing to work on cleaning out my record collection to make some cash for recent medical bills. The records that i will be listing this time are the creme of the crop from my collection. These are all white label "official" bootlegs; including CSN&Y, The Beatles and Bob Dylan (two with Autographs!!). These were my uncle's most prized records in his collection, which i inherited a few years ago. He collected these himself bought new and at some point was able to have Dylan sign two of them. These come straight from a private collection and were barely played and treated with utmost care. The records were played only once while in my collection to maintain condition and the vinyl is described as NEAR MINT. Unfortunately, since all of the covers are just plain white sleeves, several of them have age spots that show. These are fantastic items that I am sure will attract the interest of serious collectors so I am confident that they will realize a realistic price without the need for a reserve. As i am not a professional collector or store, i stay away from grading my records and instead start the auctions low and let bidders decide what they're worth. Recently i have had trouble with people bidding extremely high for records, only to receive them and inspect them and then ask to send them back as they are not up to their "audiophile" standard. This has been a rare occurrence, as most people seem very satisfied with their purchases from my collection, but one that is problematic enough for me to have to spell it out: these records are being sold "as-is" and no refunds will be offered. Please if you're that serious of a collector, feel free to ask me questions or for more pictures before you win the auction. I have tried my best to research and catalog these GWW Boots, but there are many different versions and covers and such so if im off about something...please ask about it or bring it to my attention. Plain white labels (stamped "GF 001/002/003/004 in wax); in a plain white sleeve with unattached photocopy of usual cover art.
What i found online: This is the FIRST of many releases of the legendary BOB DYLAN Great White Wonder 2LP from 1969. Plain white gatefold cover and Matrix numbers are GF 001/002/003/004: First pressing. A very nice example of a rare record. Reasonable starting price with no reserve.
