Rare & unusual LP collection of Non-Hollywood personalities not usually considered as recording artists:
1) THE MR. BLACKWELL SHOW (1967) - (Rob-Rich Records - 7-11) - SEALED! A collection of lyrics & music made famous by Blackwell in his television spectaculars which were also presented on-stage at the Desert inn at Las Vegas, and in concert with the Cincinati Symphony Orchestra early in 1967. CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover= Near Mint. Still sealed in shrink wrap. Richard Blackwell (August 29, 1922 – October 19, 2008) was an American fashion critic, journalist,television and radio personality, artist, former child actor and former fashion designer, sometimes known just as Mr. Blackwell. He was the creator of the "Ten Worst Dressed Women List", an annual awards presentation he unveiled in January of each year.
2) HELEN GURLEY BROWN: Lessions In Love (1963) - (Cresecendo-GNP-604) After the success of her 1962 book Sex and the Single Girl, Helen made this album to record additional thinking on the subject that was not included in the book. Eventually the success of her book led to the making of a movie starring Natalie Wood and her job as editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Magazine. CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover = Excellent. Promo hole punch in lower right hand corner of cover. Still in shrink wrap. Helen Gurley Brown (February 18, 1922 – August 13, 2012)[1] was an American author, publisher, and businesswoman. She was the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine for 32 years. In 1962, when Brown was 40, her book Sex and the Single Girl[16] was published in 28 countries, and stayed on the bestseller lists for over a year.[17] In 1964 the book inspired the film of the same name starring Natalie Wood. In 1965, Brown became editor-in-chief ofCosmopolitan, then a literary magazine famed for high-toned content, and reinvented it as a magazine for the modern single career-woman.[18] In the 1960s, Brown was an outspoken advocate of women's sexual freedom and sought to provide women with role models in her magazine. She claimed that women could have it all – "love, sex, and money". As a result of her advocacy, glamorous, fashion-focused women were sometimes called "Cosmo Girls". Her work played a part in what is often called the sexual revolution. In 1997, Brown was ousted from her role as the U.S. editor of Cosmopolitan[19] and replaced by Bonnie Fuller

Rona Barrett (born Rona Burstein, October 8, 1936, New York City) is an American gossip columnist and businesswoman. She currently runs the Rona Barrett Foundation, a non-profit organization in Santa Ynez, California, dedicated to the aid and support of senior citizens in need. She developed the first in-depth personal TV specials about film, television, music, sports and political celebrities, and had a series of magazines on the entertainment industry that were top-rated at newsstands, including Rona Barrett's Hollywood: Nothing But the Truth.4)GYPSY ROSE LEE: Remembers Burlesque (196 ) - (Stereoddities - CG-1) Gypsy Rose Lee re-creates the all the variety, vitality, and excitement of the Vaudeville and Burlesque eras through a series of spicy songs and belly-laugh comedy tales. Gypsy Rose Lee (born Rose Louise Hovick, January 8, 1911 – April 26, 1970) was an American burlesque entertainer and vedette famous for her striptease act. She was also an actress, author, and playwright whose 1957 memoir was made into the stage musical and film Gypsy.
