If you search for the best ,original , rarest ,hard to find earliest pressing, prog psych lps in the best condition consider this UK original '69 KING CRIMSON lp IN THE COURT OF The CRIMSON KING. This early Uk pressing is on pink with white "I" logo label # ILPS, 9111, numbers stamped in trail off are: side one, A-2 -1-2-14 side two, B-3-1-1-11. This lp is in beautiful condition, the person I acquired it from must not have played it much at all, it has vibrant near pristine labels and brilliant mirror gloss vinyl. No groove wear , scratches, defects, warps , sleeve stains , or bad scuffs, I viewed both sides under close inspection with a magnyfing glass and bright light , on one side only, I noticed just a few very light surface scuffs that do not affect play, the other side is pristine. Cover has No seam or spine splits, cut corners, punch holes, stains, stickers , writing , etc. One corner slightly bent, mild wear front and back and worn spine. Also has orig UK plastic lined static free inner sleeve, No splits . I played excerpts from each side, they sounded clean and clear with no distortion or annoying background noise. back starting in the late '60's I bought many records, mostly prog psych, King Crimson and Floyd were my favs, I wore out my U.S. copies, playing them every day, I was pleased to find this early UK pressing last week so I could make it available to serious collectors with a low minimum bid today on ebay, Good Luck , Your satisfaction guaranteed.
