ARTIST: The Impalas
LABEL: Cub 8003 (1959 Mono)
TITLE: Sorry (I Ran All the Way Home)
CONDITION:
Sleeve: The front cover is beautiful w/ bright shiny lamination gloss and bright vibrant colors but it has a barely visible light 5 1/2" diagonal stain at the bottom right corner which has caused just a slight bit of waviness (check out the first photo). The top right corner of the top seam also has a barely visible and very neatly done 3 3/8" piece of clear unyellowed tape. The back cover is VG+ w/ a little light wear, a tiny tear in the top middle and a tiny sticker remnant at the top left corner where the clear tape is also visible. You can also see the the very light stain at the bottom left corner. The seams are sharp & intact except for a tiny 1/4" split at the bottom right corner which also has a tiny ding. That all said these are all very minor imperfections leaving a pretty beautiful cover.
Record: Gorgeous! Retains high original gloss w/ just some light surface scuffs. Plays almost Mint- w/ just a touch of very light random background surface noise / By the spindle hole it looks like this LP may have been played once. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Rare original 1959 deep groove copy of this great Vocal Group early Rock n' Roll LP on Cub. The Impalas consisted of Dick Wagner, Lenny Renda, Tony Carlucci, Joe Frazier.
