Description
How rare is this! I have previously sold rare items from my collection but nothing to compare with this.
It is an original copy of "Let Our Love Grow Higher" by Eula Cooper on Super Sound orange label issue. I am 100% sure of it's authenticity. I bought it from Jonathan in around 1979 when he was still playing on the Northern scene (I am sure he won't mind the name drop) in fact it is still in his numbered cover.
It is in very good condition, the label is blemish free, the vinyl shows sign of wear with some surface marks however I have just played it and it sounds great, there are no major sound imperfections.
I have an idea an of what it is worth. I paid a relative fortune for it then as one of only a handful of copies ever found. Let's face it not only is it one of the "rarest of the rare" records it is also one of the best - what a voice! What a record!
If this record shows good interest I will list other rarities to match the scarcity of this number. It is therefore up to you in ebay land! I will start the auction at a pound, it is up to you to set the price!
