Description
Let me start off by saying i'm NOT a record dealer or a collector. I do not know how to grade a record to a collectors standard. All i can do is be as honest with the description as possible and highlight any visible issues or faults. ....................... Up for auction is a double album by The kinks I believe this is a first pressing & quite hard to come by. The record is on the blue PYE lable NPL 18326 MONO Overall i would say it's in fair condition concidering it's age. The sleeve has light surface / scuff marks with visible wear to the edges. Both records are in their original black sleeves.
Side 1 Several light white speckles to the label / Light scratches to the record Side 2 Clean label / A couple of small light scratches to the record Side 3 2 small white speckles to the label / a tiny scratch to the record Side 4 1 small white speckle to the label / Light scratch to the record.
I remember someone telling me once that if you can feel the scratch with you finger nail the majority of the time the record will skip & jump. Although some of the scratches on these records are clearly visible none can be felt with the finger nail. Having passed that test i have myself played all 4 sides and i can honestly say that they play without any jumps or skips. OK visually this probably isn't the best example of this record on the market but it is quite hard to find. Surely someone would like it for their collection until they find a better one.
