Description
Extremely rare and desirable debut UK album from Martha and Vandellas on Oriole label.Come and Get These Memories (1963) PS40052 (Matrix p4rm-8421-1 and b4rm-8422-1).
Sold poorly in its day and was the last album licensed to Oriole by Motown so is one of the hardest soul albums to find in the UK.
As the pictures show the album is in respectable condition and overall a strong VG+. The cover is only VG on a conservative grading due to creasing, edge and spine wear, flip back damage and also marks to rear (including unusual "S" stamp in corner). However, as these were fairly flimsy sleeves most have suffered some damage in last 52 years.
Disc itself is actually a lost better with a few noticeable light scuffs and scratches but a strong VG++ (or close to EX-). Plays really well.
Listed at a sensible start price and also an attractive buy it now option.
