LABEL:           1977 Columbia records acetate / dubplate 45 RPM pre-release with no catalog number

VINYL:            VG+  (superb gloss, some light superficial scuffing, plays great with crisp, clean analog sound and great fidelity)

NOTE:           Back in the (good old) days of vinyl, acetates were the very first copies made of a recording to be given to people involved in making the recording such as the artist, producer, engineer or possibly a record company executive. They were made to preview a work, sometimes while still in progress. The quantities made were incredibly small and they were just not meant to end up in collector's hands. Therefore, an acetate is just about the rarest form of a recorded song you can own. Acetate is much thicker and heavier than vinyl and the labels were usually handwritten.
