Let me start by saying that this record is difficult to photograph. The front cover photo is pretty true to what it looks like but it's better in person. The back photo I lightened up so you could read the songs that are printed in Black on Black just like the cover but it washed it out to look a lot worse than it is. With that said, just imagine the back looking more like the front. Not perfect by any means but not totally messed up either. Whew! Glad that's over with. Now to the vinyl.- It's surprisingly clean, plays great and has an in your face Prince kick in the gut funk to it. When he was making those other records I wish he had made more Lps like this one. It's where he really shines in my book. No wonder people went ape shit and spent literally hundreds/thousands of dollars trying to get the super rare and elusive first deleted version from a few years earlier. I can't imagine it would sound much different than this one. It's fantastic. Anyway, there you have it. If you're looking then you know what this is. Please study the photos and ask all questions before bidding. Records are sold As-Is and Not returnable. I don't want your jacked up copy you and your chick and or dude snorted rails from sent back to me in the mail. Shipping is to the Lower 48 States USA Only. I have over 1200 Perfect Feedback Comments and am well versed in how to ship records without damage. The vinyl is VG+ with some surface marks but it plays through on both sides with no skips or jumps, and a minimum of surface noise. The jacket is Good+ with obvious shelf wear. No splits.
There is a "Prince Black Album" sticker on the front cover. The cover appears to be solid black with no images or writing, but if you tilt it, you will be able to see the image of Prince. The same is true for the track list on the back of the jacket.
