Description

Very RARE Direct Cut disc straight from tape by Professor Johnson on his Privately pressed record label - Reference Recordings ( RR-12 ) in 1983. 

This is a live recording made in a concert hall, mixed on the spot, no reverb or overdubbing.  This was a unique recording event, Airto Moreira & Flora Purim came together with The Grateful Deads percussionist - Mickey Hart along with a whole section of Batacada drummers for a celebration of percussion music. It was pressed at 45rpm to get a better sound.

The album contains a wonderful batacada work out amongst many other varied  tracks.   Please email for track listing and any more info.

The record comes in a beautiful gatefold sleeve packed with many great photographs and loads of technical information.

CONDITION : Sleeve - Mint- ( very slight edge rubbing )  Vinyl - Side 1 is Mint- Side 2 is VG+ ( there is some surface scuffing from spindle but plays beautifully )  NOT MANY PRESSED - RARELY COMES UP
