Description

Discovery Club Vol. 1 featuring The Underground Railroad and The Tree of Life.

Extremely rare copy of volume 1 of the Discovery Club series. This series sought to feature 2 unsigned local groups, in this case 'The Underground Railroad' and 'The Tree of Life' out of New Jersey and New York respectively. Neither group recorded another LP or 45, and there were no other volumes in the series. Terrific sound on both sides from straight funk to jazzy soul! Vinyl is VG+ with high gloss and pristine label. Gatefold jacket is VG+ with fully intact spine and super clean face. There is about an inch of slight wear to the top and bottom seam towards the opening, and wear to the bottom left corner -other than that a gorgeous copy!
