Description

This 45 is a private pressing done by MUS-I-COL (MUSICOL) Recording out of Columbus,Ohio,with a catalog number of 103437/8 and I feel it dates to around 1980.It is The Franklin Alternative Middle School Jazz Octet featuring vocalist Tina Haddin doing LISTEN TO THE WORD b/w the protest classic WE SHALL OVERCOME.The record is graded VG+,sorry I can't give a sound clip but LISTEN TO THE WORD is a very catchy soul funk mid-tempo tune with high school brass band as background.It is hard to find information on  this 45 as it seems very obsqure but I did find it listed as one of the soul tunes issued by MUSICOL.I'm sure this was pressed in a very limited quantity and I can't find any as showing up recently.If you go to Youtube or search the web you will find information on the legendary MUSICOL Recording and Pressing Studio.
