Description
"Tricky Zingers" by Creme Soda.1975 original, still sealed, private pressing of Milwaukee Psyche/Rock. Purchased by the seller in a Green Bay record store when it first came out.
Creme Soda issued several singles ,which are on the lp, and they were featured items from Bomp mail order. Greg Shaw , of Bomp and Mojo Navigator magazine fame, actually wrote the liner notes for this lp. He describes the disk as touching on "just about every style that's mattered most in the evolution of rock" he goes on to describe the breadth of the music contained:"From the rockabilly/punk of "I'm Chewin' Gum" to the psychedelic/ bubblegum of "Keep it Heavy" to the Yardbirds/ Chocolate Watchband sound of "The Nazz Are Blue" to the Pink Floyd/Stooges flash of "Numero Uno" to the Hollies pop of "Tonight"
Overall, this is a great, lost record that needs wider appreciation.
