Description

Rare 12" promotional single for the Replacements song "Alex Chilton" about the legendary singer songwriter of The Box Tops and Big Star. Record sleeve was signed by lead singer/guitarist/songwriter Paul Westerberg and drummer Chris Mars during a promotional interview in 1987. Features big, bold marker signature from Westerberg (top) and a rare, one of a kind piece of artwork from Mars depicting cartoon character Fred Flintstone. 
After leaving The Replacements, Mars released several acclaimed solo records and pursued his love of artwork. He has had multiple gallery shows and exhibitions and his artwork is on display in galleries and museums. Limited edition prints of Mars' art sell for thousands of dollars but here is a chance to own a rare and unique piece of artwork as well as an autograph of one of the most acclaimed singer/songwriters of the last 30 years.
CONDITION: Near mint vinyl has never been played. Sleeve is in very good+ condition with light corner, cover and ring wear.
