Description
This record is a rare piece of Rock and Roll history. In 1955, Boyd Bennett and his Rockets produced the first Rock and Roll Teenage hit, “Seventeen,” which sold over three million records. It hit #5 on the US charts and his band worked night after night with Bill Haley and the Comets. They had a new sound and it was Rock and Roll. King Records had a totally in house record production operation and they never produced a large quantity of records which is why this EP is extremely rare. It has four songs on it, “Seventeen,” “Boogie at Midnight,” 00-00-00,” and “Little Ole You-All.” This record is King EP-377 and it is in Excellent, almost New condition, there are no scratches or warping. The album cover is beautiful with a little splitting at the two edges and a price of $1.49 written in pencil on the rear, as you can see in the pictures. This is a Rare piece of Rock and Roll history. If you need more pictures or information please let me know.
