Enjoy listening to "Side 1" and grade the record's playback for yourself. The Picture sleeve has a few of the regular bends but very clean. This is a very rare release that was re-issued by Rock It Records in the early 80's of a couple of tracks out of the four that he recorded in the late 50's for Charlie Roach, owner of Westwood Records. He had other releases on Magic, Lucky Eleven, and one on Sam Phillips' Holiday Inn label. Probably best known for penning "Coal Miner's Daughter" for Loretta Lynn. Toured Vegas and Hollywood and ended up becoming the Constable of his hometown in Reinza, Misssissippi. All of his records are very rare- basically impossible to find today- all Killer Rockabilly. One of the best Rockabilly voices ever but just like Ronnie Self, he wasn't really credited for it until his recording and stage career had long since past.
