Hard-to-find 10-inch LP ‘Film Favourites’ (1954, a compilation of films themes played by Ron Goodwin And His Concert Orchestra very early on in his career.

This album has never had a release on CD so this remains the only available source.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: G. Looks superbly clean on visual inspection. One hairline scuff mark through side 2 track 1. Otherwise no obvious signs of any marks, scuffs or hairlines anywhere. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is good throughout. Some mild surface noise and static in places, notably during quieter cues and at start of each side. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. An adequate listening experience to an early Ron Goodwin gem.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): G. Colours bright and unfaded. Superb laminated sleeve both sides. Some damage to corners but edges and spine pinched and clean. Just light dropout on spine. Disc ring outline. Aperture mildly dogeared and clear delamination here. Reverse side has obvious tears on aperture. A few other nicks to bowed aperture. Areas of delamination in corners and in from aperture as well. Flipbacks present and attached. Overall clean and just better than fair so in good shape.
Inner Sleeve: VG. Original. Poly-lined white paper with squared corners and central hole. Minor creases/folds though normal handling.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
