Original LA (west coast "5" cover) STEREO! first press- SECOND STATE version of the famous "Butcher Cover"- See detailed photos
This is an authentic second state copy IN STEREO...the stereo pressings of this pressing version are far, far more rare than the Mono counterpart and worth considerably more. This can be professionally "peeled" to reveal an excellent rendition of the full butcher coverage image, or as most fans prefer these days-keep the cover "as-is" as a historic Beatles conversation piece. Either way, this stereo version will always hold and increase it's value over the years.
The two main authentication points are:
1- the "V" of Ringo's turtleneck which is highlighted in photo #2 3- at the top left side of the cover, you can see the black "stereo" banner of the butcher cover peeking out from underneath!-this is the most dramatic example of proof and very uncommon among Butcher covers; an actual section of the butcher cover visible to the naked eye.
4-the vinyl is VG, quite clean and plays very well without issue 5-Original yellow Capitol inner sleeve 6-small seam separation on bottom right corner
