Description

Here I have for sale the very rare US import soundtrack album LP to two of Walt Disney's People And Places Documentary Series – ‘Switzerland’ and ‘Samoa’ (1956). Music by two of Walt Disney's legendary composers: Paul J. Smith and Oliver Wallace.
Priced to reflect rarity over condition. Get it while you can as this is the only one available on eBay right now and it doesn't turn up very often.

Paul J. Smith and Oliver Wallace ?– People And Places 'Switzerland / Samoa' (Original Music From The Soundtracks) (1956)

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
Vinyl – F-G. Both sides are clean and unsoiled on visual inspection with just a few surface hairlines on each. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is fair to good since surface noise persists throughout and there is the odd crackle. A wavering can be heard throughout as the disc rotates so it might be improved/eradicated with a professional clean. That said, the orchestral music is bright in spite of this interference.
Outer sleeve (Cover) – F. Superb thick-stock card. Top edge has entirely split so cover is open. Some creasing in corners and mottling over front and back. Disc outline wear and some dropout on colour on 'Switzerland' side. Some residue marks in right corner but aperture is clean and unscuffed. Edges are generally in good shape and spine shows mild rubbing. 'Samoa' side is in similar condition.
Inner sleeve – F. Original. Very thin tissue-like yellowed paper. Folding, creasing in corners and partly split along one side and half split along another. Aperture badly worn but intact enough still to protect the LP.

ITEM CONDITION - items are graded according to Record Collector definitions - see below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
