Description

I was fortunate to come across an interesting lot of assorted broadcast and record company items mostly from the 1960s and 70s, which I am listing on ebay over the next couple of weeks.  This listing is for the London disc #22 of the famed 1980 Drake-Chenault Satcon I 48-hour fantasy concert.  The concept was for a fantasy concert taking place at various worldwide locations linked by satellite.  The program involved extensive sound effects and audio trickery to create the illusion of live music from mostly studio recordings.  This record includes Electric Light Orchestra playing All Over the World, Strange Magic, Living Thing, Turn to Stone, I'm Alive, and Don't Bring Me Down.  Then Eric Clapton does Lay Down Sally, After Midnight, I Shot the Sheriff, and Layla.  Total time 50:09 minutes.  Super-rare item.  Includes record, sleeve, and paper segment list.

Very careful packing and shipping within the US is $6 plus mandatory insurance for final bid price; shipping to France, Germany, UK is $15, Japan $18.50, China $21; email for other international shipping charges, which are fairly high since ebay now requires state of the art package tracking.
