Description

Rare Schubert Octet in F major, Op. 166

This is an amazing condition recording of the Vienna Octet on the rare Decca Wideband label

It is the ED1 version as it is grooved, has the FFSS logo and also the "Original recording by" mark on the label

The vinyl is in excellent to near mint condition. There is no spindal wear, the label is in stunning condition and the record still has its original shine. I have not tested it as my record player is not up to par for this kind of record but on very close inspection I can only see a couple of tiny hairline marks. Nothing that would effect the quality of the sound but I thought I better mention them

The sleeve is in amazing condition as you can see in the photo, but is does have a few small scuffs in the corners and the opening side, the laminate has expected tiny bubbles in a couple of places, and the rear has a little storage wear mark to it. When you get to see the sleeve in real life I'm sure you will be impressed with the condition but I want to point out as much as I can

This is an amazing rare Decca Stereophonic record in superb condition which would be an excellent addition to any collection

Thanks for looking and have fun bidding
