Description

Rare female vocal jazz LP Songs for a Raney Day by Sue Raney with orchestra conducted by Billy May. This mono release on Capitol Records T1335 is high end of VG to VG+, with some light scuffs and nice sheen. Play tested with no noticeable problems (thanks, deep grooves!). The main drawbacks are on the sleeve, as it had masking tape around the sides that has been removed and de-gunked. This was entirely overkill by the previous owner, as there is only a ~1" split on the bottom and ~2-3" split on top. The biggest issue from this is that it had stained the white reverse cover on two sides (see photos). Basically, think of it as an opportunity to get a rather nice copy of a valuable and scarce record that happens to be in a subpar sleeve.
