Wonderful Authentic Piece of Jazz History
You are bidding on an authentic piece of Jazz History. This signed album and cover came from the estate of Sam Johnson, a Kansas City Jazz drummer who was a gifted musician and local jazz legend. The cover autograph of Samauri Celestial is personalized to Mr. Johnson writing that he was “smooth as silk”. According to my research, two of the gentleman signing the cover, Marshall Allen and John Gilmore, eventually became leaders of the Sun Ra Arkistra ensemble. All signers are well respected, even legends, of jazz. The album label is signed “ Sun Ra”. All signatures are legible with the exception of a small water stain on the Freddy Adams.

The album is in good condition (I don’t attempt to grade albums, but the only flaw I can see on this lp is a small thin scuff on the Neptune side a few small scratches that should effect play. The cover shows wear on the edges and corners.

Shipping

· Seller reserves the right to ship via a different carrier than that listed in the automated Ebay listing assistant when deemed appropriate.
· Shipping is $5.95 to lower 48. Item will be shipped via USPS Mail within 1-7 business days of receipt of payment . International shipping cost is a flat rate $35.00 and international buyers must contact the seller prior to making payment in order insure accurate shipping costs. International buyers must not pay US shipping costs. We will combine shipments.
Warranty
· Returns only accepted when there is an obvious error in the item description.
· Notification of intent to return must be received through Ebay messaging system within 3 days of receipt.
· Most, if not all items, are marked with hidden marks. Should a return be made with no mark, no refund will be issued.
