The Desert Sessions - Volume 4
10" Cream Coloured Vinyl
Man's Ruin Records
This is the ORIGINAL pressing of volume 4 by the Desert Sessions, 21st July 1998. The art was designed and produced by the Man's Ruin records owner; Frank Kozik.
Kozik has produced art for a huge range of musicians in the form of records and posters.
He now produces limited runs of figurines.
Man's Ruin records, defunct as of 2001, started in 1994. Kozik signed 50/50 profit share licencing agreements with musicians.
His fair approach meant, for many years, fine musicians released limited edition colour vinyl with fine art cover design.
A record company, not obsessed with sheer profit or publications, such was Mans Ruin a rare thing and its liabilities brought about its unfortunate demise.
Whist Mans Ruin exsisted they put out records from the following musicians;
Fu Manchu, Electric Wizard, Earthlings?, Unsane, Nebula, Los Natas, Kyuss, Orange Goblin, Beaver, The Heads, Queens of the Stone Age, Entombed, Goatsnake
Unida, Alabama Thunderpussy, Suplecs, The Dwarves, Melvins, Brutal Juice, Iron Monkey, Church of Misery, Gwar, Magic Dirt, Acid King, Green Machine and many others.

I have attempted to photograph the etchings, (see photographs,) for proof but it was rather difficult!
There are many bootleg represses of the Desert Sessions vinyls, some of them very simular to the original offical pressing.
However the most common bootlegs are the vinyls with 2 volumes on each, e.g. Desert Sessions Vol.1 & Vol. 2
