Rare The Red Crayola with Familiar Ugly LP SEALED Parable of Arable Land M/M

Hello vinyl music lovers, welcome to Psych and Pstuff. I always try to have a theme of the week and this week I am featuring only Sealed Psych and Hard rock LPs. So dare I say this is Psealed Psych week. Most of these LPs are quite hard to find, especially in still sealed condition. I do not sell reissues or bootlegs unless stated specifically in the listing, but none this week.  I will try to list 4-5 LPs a day through Thursday and will leave a list at the bottom of the page of all LPs coming up for sale this week as a preview in case someone is looking specifically for one of these gems for sale this week. Now on to the listing;

The Red Crayola with Familiar Ugly - The parable of Arable Land is the 2nd LP on the International Artists label right behind the first 13th Floor Elevators LP. It is a must have for the self respecting Psych collector. And to find a still sealed first press is amazing. The LP and cover has absolutely no flaws. The shrink wrap is tight with a couple of small breathe holes. This LP was reissued several times, once in 1979 and again in 2002. On the first press issues it has 3 catalog #s that are all different, with different punctuation marks. The first # is on the back cover and matches to the original. I cannot see the second because it is on the label and the LP is sealed, but the 3rd is on the spine and only the first stereo issue has this particular #. It is; IA-LP. #2 . Stereo......  Only the first stereo issue has this exact # on the spine. And after the # it says Red Crayolas and has the "s" added on that does not belong in the name. They are The Red Crayola. So please be confident this is a first issue.

LP - The LP cannot be seen because it is sealed but you can tell by holding it that it is on nice thick vinyl and housed in a thick cardboard cover. LP presumed Mint

Cover - The cover is as clean as you would find in the record store back in 1967. The shrink is tight with a couple of small breathe holes. It is as new.

So the overall rating for this LP is M/M. A must have for any psych collector.

There may be a few ticks or static between songs but still a very nice listen. The cover may also show a bit more wear or have a small seam opening, but still looks nice and clean. Since record grading is so subjectible to the sellers opinion, I wanted to give you my VG+ grading and what goes into calling it VG+. Thank you.

My grading system is M(only used on sealed LPs), NM, EX, VG+, VG, VG- and Good. LPs rated good will only be sold if they are very rare. I have been collecting and grading LPs for nearly 5 decades. I was a seller of guitars for many years on Ebay and now decided to put some of my LP collection up for sale. I have many Psych, Hard Rock, Blues, Jazz, Prog and more from the 1960s and 1970s. Many are still sealed. I will offer auction style and Buy It Now listings.

Shipping - I will ship media mail to anywhere in the US for $5.00 I will also offer Priority shipping for $12.00. I ship in LP mailers with the LPs outside of the sleeve to avoid seam splits. Sealed LPs will not be opened. I will also ship to Europe and Japan via USPS international First Class mail for $25 for the first LP. I will combine shipping. I will ship within 3 business days of receiving cleared payment.
