** Low Start - A Rare 1st Stereo Pressing - Fully Identified Variant of The Iconic Second Studio Album - A Saucerful Of Secrets LP by Pink Floyd on Blue Black Columbia with Original Inner and Gilmore Misprint **
This is the 1969 1st Pressing with 3rd Issue Label that has the 2 line title and credits for tracks A4 and B3,
this is much rarer than the version with the 1 line title and credits.
Let There Be More Light has been corrected from Let There Me More Light
Retains the Misprint Gilmore on Labels and Sleeve

Tax Code: Tax Code Appears to be Absent
Labels: 3rd Issue Stereo Columbia Black Columbia label with silver text, and a blue "Columbia Records Magic Notes Trademark" at the top, and a blue "Columbia" in the centre. Underneath the blue "Columbia" it says "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions. See price lists." - The labels are very nice and clear with some light wear / rubbing - see photos.
The first and last song on side 1 have the publishing credits changed to Lupus Music Ltd.
Text around the bottom edge of the labels starts at 10 o'clock and says: Made in GT Britain

Pressing: 1st Stereo Pressing with 3rd Pressing Label and Variant 6 Matrices
Sleeve: Original Hipgnosis Front Laminated Sleeve / Back with Song listing. Credits. Flipback cover. At top foldover of back cover says "File under POPULAR : Pop Groups." At bottom fold over of back cover it says "6807 TPS Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending SX6258 / SCX6258." Small Name 'MIN' on Rear - Note: I have several copies of the sleeve and the first issues (as per sleeve provided) were printed darker than later sleeves - this is evident on the back panel when comparing sleeves - this is not just due to other sleeves fading with age - quite interesting.
Inner Sleeve: Reddish brown printing on cream coloured paper. On the front side is the EMI logo at the top center, with "Add these outstanding LPs to your collection" at the top, 16 LP covers pictured in the middle including The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers, and "Remember-the new Emitex cleans and preserves your records," and "Patents applied for" at the bottom.
On the back side is the EMI logo at the top center, with " - the greatest recording organization in the world" at the top, 16 LP covers pictured in the middle including Pink Floyd-Piper at the Gates of Dawn, and "E.M.I. Records (The Gramophone Company Ltd.) Hayes - Middlesex - England, Made and Printed in Great Britain" at the bottom.

Condition: As Below Low Starting Reflecting Condition but Price Well Below RRPG - Estimate £160 to £280
- Visual Condition: Conservatively VG (Perhaps VG+) The LP shows light signs of being handled and played, despite some traces / light sleeve removal marks and some light small scratches or marks (more noticeable under light) this is in great condition.
- Audio Condition: Conservatively VG Mainly EX- Super Audio for a Record Of This Age and only a little lessening in sound quality - some fainter noise with some minor pops ( a professional deep clean may remove) but loud and clear music (mainly on run-ins / quieter passages or between tracks which are mostly quiet as well) - See Video for Start of Both Sides.
Please Consider This Additional Note Note: As I honestly list my records and do not mislead. The mentioned and noticeable movement in the video does not impact the playback whatsoever.
You may see that there is some slight movement in the stylus / tone arm in the video - I cannot detect anything that represents a visual warp and the LP Appears to Lie Almost / Completely Flat.
There is an assumed barely visible very localized micro edge warp - presenting during play due to such movement I can only figure there may be a tiny / very fragmental lifting causing the imbalance when inspecting the LP this is not evident. Perhaps this is a pressing quirk?? As mentioned this does not appear to affect the audio.
Perhaps use of the popular low cost flattening service could ensure absolutely 100% Perfect flatness
- Most of my pre-loved and played records come from both personal and private collections and whilst stored carefully may beneficial from a professional clean.
