Up for your consideration is a used, but very little played, 78 rpm jazz record album set featuring Billie Holiday with the Teddie Wilson orchestra. Columbia Set # C-61 produced in 1947. Album cover in excellent condition for its age.
Songs recorded from June of 1935 and featuring fabulous musicians of the era like: Lester Young, Joe Jones, Buck Clayton, Artie Shaw , Benny Goodman, Roy Eldridge, Cozy Cole, Ben Webster, and many, many more. This was an epic combination of the forces of the early jazz movement. No collection is complete without this. Songs include: Miss Brown to You, I Wished on the Moon, What a Little Moonlight Can Do, If You Were Mine, I Must Have That Man, Foolin' Myself, Easy Living, and When You're Smiling.
