Rare Vogue Picture Record R712* Nice*
This auction is for a R712 Vogue Picture Record, produced in 1946 by Sav-Way Industries out of Detroit, Michigan. They are usually not collected for the songs because Sav-Way industries were not able to attract big name talent to their label and actually went out of business the year after introducing them. This record has Shep Fields and his Orchestra on both sides. Side 1: Matrix P19, “Atlanta, GA” written by Skylar and Shaftel, vocals by Jack Prince. Side 2: Matrix P20, “Aren’t You Glad You’re You?” written by Johnny Burke and Jimmy Van-Heusen, with vocals by Meredith Blake. Condition is not minty. Has some scratching and some little dents that are surface...does not go through the vinyl. See pic as I tried to feature a close-up. Reserve has been placed to protect my investment. This one was not cheap.
