Thank you for viewing my listing.
For sale I have the very rare and much sought after first press
Led Zeppelin IV.
It has the matrices A//3 and B//3 - please see photos.
It also has the following words etched:
“Porky” on one side.
“pecko Duck” on the other.
It is from the deluxe version of the recording (2401020), and with
the etched words present, it shows it is the best recording of
this album.
It has the plum label, and is the 4th variation.

Version 4:
With all of the stickered label corrections now correctly printed…they (designers, printers…who knows!) somehow now get the song title wrong for ‘MISTY MOUNTAIN HOP’…and turn it into ‘MISTY MOUNTAIN TOP'.
Correctly printed labels with LED ZEPPELIN now in top half, correct publishing credits and no PeterGrant credit.
“Under licence from Atlantic Recording Corpn.,” is now within the central white stripe
The record is from my Dad’s private record collection, but he
sadly passed earlier this year. As I don’t play records, or listen
to this genre of music, I have decided to sell some.
He really was very particular about his records and looked after
them so very well. That is why the vinyl is listed as ‘near mint’.
It looks beautiful, and has no visible inperfections or scratches.
The vinyl is smooth with a nice shine.
Record comes from a pet free and smoke free home.
Album will be securely packaged in a box made for records,
reinforced with 8 sheets of cardboard, wrapped in bubble wrap,
With more reinforced cardboard and securely wrapped in a postal
bag. Fragile tape and stickers will be on parcel too.
It will be sent using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery, which is a
guaranteed next day service, with delivery by 1pm.
A tracking number will be provided to the buyer, and uploaded
to the listing details too.
Parcel will be fully insured.
