Description
I am selling some of my collection of classical records most of which are high grade.
This is the famous 1959 Decca stereo recording of Arrigo Boito's opera Mefistofele conducted by Tullio Serafin and featuring the voices of Cesare Siepi, Mario Del Monaco and Renata Tebaldi.
Disc one, (sides 1&6) is VG; disc two, (sides 2&5) is EX; and disc three, (sides3&4) is NM. The box is EX with a little rubbing to the corners and a small patch of de-lamination at centre bottom (it can be seen in the photograph.) The booklet is complete, white and unstained but the front and rear covers are detached from the other pages and there is a tear in the front cover. The original paper inner-sleeves are almost new, clean and white.

Look out for more rare recordings in high grade which I am disposing of. All are part of a personal collection of 1950s,1960s and early 1970s Classical LPs ; most are in excellent or better condition; including several rarities and first pressings, mainly Decca SXLs, EMI ASDs, Angel, and Mercury Living Presence Stereo: De Vito, Kertesz, Oistrakh, Beecham etc. I am happy to receive wants lists if there is something you are particularly looking for.
I will be listing numbers of them individually throughout the next two weeks or so. So please review my other listings from time to time. They must go and are sold without reserve.
I grade according to Record Collector Magazine standards and I think you will like these recordings as much as I do; but if you don't, and you are not completely satisfied then everything is returnable.
