Description
Rare garage psych lp: PSYCHEDELIC SOUNDS of the THIRTEENTH FLOOR ELEVATORS, International Artists, IA-LP-1; second mono pressing, released in January of 1967 (the 1st was 1966). Runout numbers include “S-1264” on side one and “Re S-1265 Re”. Jacket indicators include 4 columns of text at the bottom of the back cover instead of 3. Gordon Bynum is credited as producer for track A1, printing credits to Tanner 'N' Texas appear at the bottom of back cover and there is no street address beneath International Artists logo. PLEASE NOTE – I HAVE AN OG STEREO COPY LISTED WITH A MAJOR JACKET PRINTING ERROR, probably unique.
Condition of vinyl is a very strong VG to VG+: clean labels, glossy vinyl with some scattered minor scuffing and several long soft scuffs and hair-like lines – all soft scuffs, not scratches, you can’t feel them and I don’t think I hear any of them – PLAYS GREAT AND SOUNDS EX; the jacket is VG+ with partial minor ringwear, a couple of very small marks, a 2-inch split to top seam and some heavy rubbing to that seam, tiny ¼ or 1/8-inch splits at right ends of top/bottom seams, spine has a ¼-inch rubbed from the top and is slightly faded but otherwise nice; partial moderate ringwear and an inch of corner peeling to back cover.
