Rare picture record SET RCA #2000&2001- Poe's The Raven

I offer up for auction a hard to find set of two 78 rpm picture records from RCA Victor Company featuring Edgar Allan Poe's  'The Raven' read by Benjamin de Loache.   Music by Arcady Dubensky with Leopold Stokowski and the Philadelphia Orchestra.  The records are numbered 2000 & 2001 (sides A&B).  On one side of each record are the words to the poem that are recorded on the other record so that someone could follow along as it plays.   The flip side of 2001 appears to be a picture/illustration to go with the poem and the flip side of 2000 has a picture of a young Leopold Stokowski and the credits associated with the record set.    I have no understanding of how to rate or grade a record and I have actually been unable to even play these because I do not possess a turntable to accomodate that speed.   Please be aware of this before bidding and recognize that the condition cannot be guaranteed due to this and should be considered an "as is" sale.   I came about these as part of a collection that are all in sleeves in albums/binders within a box and were apparently in storage for some time before coming into my possession.   The records do seem to show evidence of what looks like discoloring or soiling, but overall by just looking at them I see no fatal flaws, cracks or chips.   Please see the pictures for more info/detail.    NOTE:  For what it is worth, in the right light you can see a small mark "stamped" in each record made up of a small diamond shape outline with "V.E." inside it.

Hello – Welcome to my auction page. I’d like to start by sharing that I claim in no way to be an expert on most things I post here and I am not a dealer or storekeeper. I am, however, a member of an extended family that finds themselves with shrinking amounts of space and too many items to store. One unit is moving to a smaller retirement home and the new nest is far from empty. Another unit is not shrinking their house, but the family is getting bigger. Others of us just need to clear some things out. We are a merry band of collectors and packrats from a long line of collectors and packrats. Each generation and each married into family member seems to have brought with them more cool, good and diverse “stuff “. While we suspect we are all a bit incurable in our packrat fever, this auction is part of a movement toward making the volume of the ‘collections’ manageable within our shrinking spaces.
