DEEP PURPLE ROYAL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA CONDUCTED BY MALCOM ARNOLD / Concerto for Group and Orchestra Original US pressing LP on Tetragrammaton Records # T131 CONDITION: COVER: VG ++ as jacket is showing a tiny amount of RW! No splits or WOC on this copy. Spine is free of wear. Tiny amount of seam wear. VINYL is NM with a couple sleeve scuffs that do nothing to the sound of this very vibrant recording. Sounds superior to other pressings. Better mix than the UK version and better quality of sound than the more common US on Warner Bros. This is a milestone LP that was the first of it’s kind to marry an orchestra to full blown hard psych rock. A must for Deep Purple fans as this introduced the world to Ian Gillian and Roger Glover. The inner photographs are much clearer and more focused than subsequent pressings too.
