Rare science fiction film soundtrack lp: DESTINATION MOON - the Original LEITH STEVENS Score from the GEORGE PAL Motion Picture "Destination Moon" - Omega Records, OSL 3, stereophonic, released in 1950 (a second pressing was issued in 1958). This was the first major U.S. science fiction film to deal with the true science and inherent dangers of human space travel, and the difficulties that could be encountered by America's first lunar mission.
Condition: EX/EX (vinyl is glossy with a few soft scuff lines and clean labels, sleeve has light scuffs, one bent corner, a single ink initial on the back cover).
