COVER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION - BUMPED CORNERS - CUT AT TOP THAT WAS TAPED NEATLY

10 INCH RECORD IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION - HEARD 2 BUMPS AND SKIPPED 2 SPOTS - PLAYS WELL WITH SOME BACKGROUND NOISE AS EXPECTED.

Michel Desgrottes (1923-1993) was a Haitian musician that relocated to Martinique in the 1960's, he was responsible for introducing the Antilles to vocalists like Gary French and Louis Lahens. He recorded with the hit parade label as well as that of Henri Debs. Desgrottes was called the doctor of rhythm, he was given this name because of his incredible ability to compose and arrange various genres of music like, chacha, mambo, bolero, compas direct, cadence rampas etc...

Unless you buy a vinyl record that  is SEALED, or in NEAR-MINT condition, there will always be some type of surface sounds, or background noise, known as pops and crackling.  If the LP has been played a couple of times, it can never be perfect. This is especially noticeable in classical records, which have quiet passages.

LIKE MINT - Mint is Mint.  It looks like it has never been played;
NEAR MINT - Very clean with just a few light marks;
EX - Light marks and/or few superficial scuffs and/or light scratches.  An enjoyable listening with possible light intermittent surface noise;
VG - Marks and/or scuffs and/or scratches.  Still an enjoyable listening but with some surface noise;
G/FAIR - It plays with lots of surface noise-many scratches

MINT - It looks like it has never been handled;
NEAR MINT - Very sharp corners with no impacts or bends, like new;
EX - Small writing and/or a small split seam and/or a small bent corner and/or light shelf wear and/or a small tear, and/or light ring wear / light edge wear / bumped corners ;
VG -Writing and/or split seams and/or corner wear and/or shelf wear and/or tears and/or ring wear / water stain;
G/fair - Cuts and/or holes and/or missing parts.
