Description

This is a very rare, one of a kind 16" WAR DEPARTMENT Broadcast Transcription of ONE NIGHT STAND featuring BENNY GOODMAN And His Orchestra as broadcast live from the HOTEL NEW YORKER, October 21, 1943 at the height of WWII. It does have some scratchiness as do most of the older transcriptions noticed mostly when the announcer is speaking but the musical selections are very listenable and probably rate VG. It needs a 78 stylus at 33 1/3 rpm. Each side has 30 minutes of the full hour program. Our 16" Discs  are shipped in 18 X 18 X 7 Heavy Duty boxes using the float method for secure shipping.
