Grading Guide -

NM: Looks and plays like new. (I don't give this rating often)
EX: The record plays almost perfectly. Cover: The cover looks close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age. The cover artwork is close to perfect. There may be some impression to the cover (minor outer ring wear) but no ink wear. There may be some slight creases to the corners. The corners may show white reflecting slight wear. There are no seam splits or writing on the cover or taped repairs. The cover may have minor impressions to the cover (due to the outer edge of the vinyl resting inside), however the artwork is close to perfect.
VG+: Has high sound quality and has some light surface marks but only very minor and occasional surface noise. COVER: The cover is clean, but may have small marks or writing. The artwork looks clean with slightly more aging than excellent. The back of the cover usually gives away the age of the cover may show yellowing but has no stains or mildew from water damage. Some minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through. The corners will be slightly dog eared yet no crackly bends, defacing the artwork.
VG: Has some surface noise, but the dynamics of the music overwhelms the noise. Covers: VG covers look worn, used and may have some seam splitting . There will be some ring wear, where the ink has begun to wear off, however the artwork is substantially intact. There may be some writing on the cover. It looks aged and more yellowish. Still it is in decent shape.
Good: Not good at all and goes to Goodwill, Salvation Army or the recycling center.

About Us:

During the 70s and 80s I obsessively collected reggae - mostly LPs. Many were played only once or twice and all were well cared for. During this time I accumulated hundred of reggae records.  I am selling records from my collection only and am not a professional record trader.  Therefore, I have attempted to conservatively grade the condition of these records. If a record has noise or more than a very occasional pop I will not give it an EX grading. I rarely call anything NM.

If you think I have incorrectly graded the condition of the record please let me know and I will make it right.

All records are original pressings unless otherwise indicated.
