Description

Rainy Day Records USA  (established 1981)

ALWAYS COMBINES SHIPPING TO SAVE YOU MONEY AND WE ALWAYS SHIP WITH TRACKING. YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!

From Vox/Turnabout Records (QTV-S 34595), this is  RAVEL: BOLÉRO,

LA VALSE, RAPSODIE ESPAGNOLE and PAVANE POUR UNE

INFANTE DÉFUNTE performed by  MINNESOTA ORCHESTRA

under the baton of STANISLAW SKROWACZEWSKI. It is an

audiophile Canadian pressing on heavy wax made November 1975; it is quadraphonic

and fully compatible with stereo equipment. Jacket is about MINT; the LP play

grades NEAR MINT MINUS and better. Pictured above is Ida Rubinstein, the

inspiration behind Bolero; the Russian actress and dancer commissioned the work

which premiered in 1928. Note: Bolero has a playing time of 17:19 as Ravel

intended. Our highest recommendation.

Wherever possible we house our vinyl in Mobile Fidelity Sound

Lab inner sleeves for the ultimate in protection; we use 6-mil

outer sleeves or polyester both being the finest protection

available for LP jackets.

These we offer FREE to all our customers!

When you buy from a small Mom & Pop business you

are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home,

a second yacht or a four hundred million dollar golden

parachute.  Instead, you’re helping a little girl get

dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey,

a Mom put food on the table, a Dad pay a mortgage,

or a student pay for college. Our customers are our

shareholders; they are the ones we strive to make happy.

Thank you for supporting small businesses.

Thoughts for today:

That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history.

As our eyes grow accustomed to sight they arm themselves against wonder.
