Referencing Paul Hindemith's 1942 landmark  opus for piano, I offer an exceptional gem....

In tribute to Women's History Month, March 2010  and   Chopin.... The Bicentennial   March 1 1810-2010.

In tribute, offered are two classic 20th Century French Piano Concerti: The Ravel Concerto in G and The Milhaud Concerto.

Both Concerti are premiere recordings with their composers and the great and very important leader among women concert pianists in France during the 1920s-40s Marguerite Long.

..... The Second Movement....  of Ravel's Concerto in G......what a lovely tribute in spirit to the beauty of the sound world of Frederic Chopin's own Piano Concerti.

Note, the jacket cover of The Milhaud set has water damage at bottom:discs are fine.  Both sets have e+ condition discs
