Description

An original 1st press in Stereo on World-Pacific in the USA. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original paste-over cover. We have the original company advertising inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great shape and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Do bear in mind this Indian style sitar playing is super fussy. I'm getting a bit of low-level static in a couple of the quietest moments [per side]. By and large a pretty clean rendition and certainly clean enough to appreciate the vibe and hear all the intricacies.
Cover (Ex-) Finding a vintage cover from this period looking this well preserved is super difficult. An impressively clean and unworn front which must be highly unusual. Note that colour retention is excellent. The rear is looking equally dapper - very little signs of ageing. The only thing detrimental is a small tear at the opening [half an inch]. I have tape secured internally. very little edge wear observable which is surprising on a USA cover. The spine is 99% intact which must be highly unusual. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity thanks to the heavy-card construction.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Splits down one side -  I have tape repaired.
