Description
I specialize in lost, atmospheric, and hypnotic 45s. Grading is done conservatively, visually. Check unaltered sound clips. I currently have a number of cool popcorn, soul, mambo, rockabilly, garage, R&B, country, surf, boogaloo, blues, funk, psychedelic, Balearic, modern soul, sunshine pop, mod, weirdo wave, heavy/hard rock, exotica, gospel, and oddball instrumental 45 obscurities up for grabs. And, in addition to tons of great 45s from greater Texas and Louisiana, I've listed some cool and weird Xmas-related discs this week.
ARTIST: Little Lawrence and the Suspenders
TITLE: Don't Mess Around / Babee
LABEL: Franco
CONDITION: VG (Beautiful, like-new copy save for a scattering of some odd-looking marks near the beginning of "Don't Mess Around." Plays brilliantly.)
Raw, cranking Texas mod R&B slop. Instant hully gully party with raucous vocals, and I love when those spiky guitar lines shift into double-time. Fans of Big Bo and the Arrows will dig this. Cool blues rocker "Babee" on flip. Fort Worth, '63.
