Original 1968 Fania Records Mono LP (LP-346)


A landmark recording from conga master Ray Barretto, blending Latin rhythms with soul jazz and boogaloo. Acid is widely considered one of Barretto’s most influential albums and includes fan favorites such as Acid, Mercy Mercy Baby, A Deeper Shade of Soul, and The Soul Drummers.


Condition


Pre-owned vintage record from my late grandfather’s personal collection. He was an avid music enthusiast and took pride in caring for his records. This album has been stored for years and has not been recently played, tested, cleaned, or professionally graded. Based on how well he maintained his collection, I believe it to be in good overall condition for its age.
