Ray Barretto “Acid” French remaster from original tapes Fania stereo 2017 vinyl.
As of now this is the only vinyl copy on ebay remastered from the original tapes I’m aware of. I’m getting my information from discogs which indicates this as the only vinyl remaster currently available on the market. This differs from the black and gold “limited edition” promo label as the remastered version is indicated by the blue, purple and pink Fania label on the promo sticker as well as on the back cover. While this particular copy for sale is without the shrink and promo sticker it is still apparent that this is the remastered copy from the back label as well as the description stating it was made in France.
High quality Fania 2017 reissue of the legendary 1968 Salsa album Acid. Remastered from the original tapes and pressed in France on 180g vinyl. The cover is in overall great shape. There is a little wear to the corners from sitting on a shelf as well as faint ring wear. The record is in excellent shape. A great playing copy that sounds fantastic! Probably the best sounding pressing out there.
