Description
Luna CAC-1007. Stereo. Ray was born in El Paso, but moved to California's Central Valley. Starting out his career in the 1960's as Ray Camacho and The Teardrops, he has amassed a devoted following due to his relentless touring and many recordings. Most of his musical career Ray has been based in Fresno, California and some members of his band (Mingo Cervantes, Manuel Palafox, Enrique Mendoza) have been with Ray for over 40 years! The music incorporates traditional Latin styles, Salsa, Soul and Funk. This LP features covers of War's "Low Rider", "Tell It Like It Is" and a doo-wop version of "Indian Love Call".
The cover is in good shape. There is a 3" split along the top seam, and some fading and ring wear on the front. The disc has light scratches and tics. Both cover and disc are VG. You can hear a four and a half minute sound sample from both side of the LP by clicking here:
