This is the US pressing from 1985. A slight imperfection is the reason for the dramatically low price on this Jacket is in Fair condition with a bit of sunfading, corner rounding, and ringwear. Spine is very strong and split-free. Vinyl is in Good condition. The catch with this record is that the title song, Spirit of Christmas has a tick on it (shown in picture 2) which causes a slight click sound for about 20 seconds of the song and then continues on as normal. Upgraded Mobile Fidelity inner sleeve included on this sale to provide the best protection possible in transit.
This is the only mass release vinyl pressing of the song made famous in Christmas Vacation when Clark gets stuck in the attic and reminisces about his youth watching old home movies. The warmth of this vinyl record on your turntable is really incredible. This album is really incredible front to back- not just a one hit wonder. Ray Charles is an undisputed icon whose legacy is only cemented after hearing this album.
