Ray Draper featuring Jackie McLean "Tuba Sounds" original LP, Prestige # 7096, mono 1957
This auction is for an original copy of the album "Tuba Sounds" by Ray Draper. 1957 sesssion features Draper on tuba, Jackie McLean on alto sax, Mal Waldron on piano, Spanky DeBreast on bass, Ben Dixon on drums, and Webster Young on trumpet. This has the deep groove yellow and black Prestige label with the W. 50th Street NYC address. Album is an original pressing and was obtained along with many other 50s and early 60s jazz records from original owner. Vinyl is VG+ with some light sleeve scuffs that do not affect play with lots of shine. Jacket is VG+ with some very light storage wear and some seam wear but no seam splits . Please see photo below. A super nice copy of this hard to find jazz LP. Will ship well packed in cardboard record mailer.
