Ray Pettibon Manson poster SIGNED & NUMBERED SST Description Raymond Pettibon poster: "Free Charlie".

11 x 17 inches.

Signed & numbered "43" by the artist.

Ray Pettibon is the brother of Greg Ginn, legendary leader of that old punk icon Black Flag and owner of SST Records. Back in 1989, Greg ordered a lackey to clean out the SST storage locker and throw out Ray's stock of 'Zines and posters, which first filled Chuck Dukowski's van and then the SST dumpster. But a few missed the dumpster... Very few.

Especially of "Free Charlie".
When the storage locker was cleaned out, a stack of these around 2" thick were welded together by water damage and mold. This was peeled off the stack before it was dumpstered- whether or not "dumpstered" is a proper verb

This is in nasty shape for a supposedly-flat piece of paper, but outstanding shape for what it is. It is water damaged, wrinkled, has some old mold spots... so thoroughly review the pictures before you bid. Most of the damage is to the upper left side.
