Description
Razor - Custom Killing (Fist Fight Records/Fringe)(1987). Side one plays nice but side two has some mold speckles that cause a skip in track #1 and at the end of track #2 and skips in 3 places on track #4. The vinyl is kept in a plastic sleeve. The album cover is in average condition with some ring wear and you can notice where a price sticker used to be. The photo sleeve with lyrics has wear including a corner crease. FPL 3042 made in Canada. 33rpm, 8 songs.
I've recently listened to all of the records that I've listed so that I can make you aware of skips, pops or other issues. I was always careful with my records and they don't have visible scratches so was surprised to find that so many of them had skips and pops. I figure there must be something in the grooves in those cases. I list all such flaws in these albums. Perhaps a record vacuuming would fix them unless they have a manufacturing defect.
I started replacing my records with CDs in the late 80s and except for playing them once recently to check them (an enjoyable task), they haven't been played in more than 20 years. I realize that vinyl sounds better (especially cymbals) but CDs are just more convenient for me.
