Razormaid - Chapter 10 - Noise Reduction --- VG+ Rare 1985 2x Red Vinyl (RM-010)
Flaws --- Vinyl VG+ all around, you may say better. The original inner sleeves will be included, but I'm adding two brand new ones, because I can. I know people. ;-)    Outer jacket we'll call VG+ (the usual - corners dinged, etc.).   I kept all Razormaid vinyl in outer LP bags.  You'll get the one tagged for this issue with BPM's etc.
This and all Razormaid items I list were major-league working records/CD's for me in the clubs and yes, I was a subscriber, but no, I don't have everything they did.
Music:
A1 --- 400 Blows --- Movin' A2 --- September --- The Lover In Me B1 --- The Kane Gang --- Gun Law B2 --- Portion Control --- The Great Divide C1 --- Mainframe --- 5 Minutes C2 --- Hard Corps --- Je Suis Passée D1 --- Kid Creole And The Coconuts --- Caroline Was A Drop-Out D2 --- Kid Creole And The Coconuts --- Endicott

Important --- 'Setup' note for the sides:
If I remember right, the Kane Gang and Mainframe tracks are reversed from the label order.... Kane Gang is C1, Mainframe is B1.  But don't hold me to that, because the 1980's and into the early-mid-1990's are still kinda sorta maybe 'a tad fuzzy' for me to a degree.  ;-)

The artists:
400 Blows --- England --- Three albums, thirteen singles, two compilations. Never heard of them until getting this set. Two of the gents went on to found the Warrior Records label.
September --- Three singles, poof, gone. No clue about the band personnel, where they're from and all that, but big-time producers Martyn Webster and John Vernon 'Skip' Anderson were involved with them.
The Kane Gang --- England --- Known mainly as part of the 'new romantics' set of bands/artists (songs like Motortown, etc.), the track here is absolute power new wave rock wall of sound stuff.
Portion Control --- England --- Industrial group with 50 official releases beginning in 1980. They were still releasing material through 2022.
Mainframe --- England --- Just a few releases, the track here is their only 'hit' and that being in clubs. Another 'wall-of-sound' song, killer hooks.
Hard Corps --- England - France --- The track on this set was one of their two very recognizable songs if you went to clubs in the 1980's. R.I.P. Ms. Regine Fetet, 2003.
Kid Creole And The Coconuts --- Noo Yawk Sit-Tay --- Cab Calloway's Big Band goes new wave. ;-) "Annie I'm Not Your Daddy" put 'em on the map and in the clubs. "Endicott" put 'em over the top. Live, they were in cred and ible. Hit the big hosting service, search 'em and you'll see.

Now for the not-reduced-to-ultra-fine-print business part - this is on every listing I run up - so you can be sure nobody gets screwed over and I don't get taken to the cleaners by folks who would do so to get stuff for free, or worse, make a seller look bad for whatever reason (yes, it happens and that's sad). I'll also never and I mean never ever notaneffingchance - I'll never engage a 'bid-bot' in the blind to run up an auction price. That's about as lowlife as anyone can get in business and says a lot about them as a person.
I'm offering new wave and prog rock (and some other styles including a few titles of very early-in-the-game techno/rave) CD's and vinyl.
Most of what's offered will be set in at auction. Some items may start as low as $2.99. From time to time, items will be run up at a fixed price and without question, at time of listing will be the lowest price - period - and will keep checking to make sure that's the case. If I'm undercut by other sellers, I'll leave mine off the board until theirs sells. Go for it, that's what it's all about. No harm no, foul on my end. See the shipping part below for what's up there.
I don't accept nor entertain offers. Why won't I ? Just being honest: Staying on top of my 'store' here is difficult enough. Sellers get screwed sometimes without realizing it and when sellers decline offers, customers can get corked off, start cussin' n' stuff...... It becomes overwhelming and more than once at the start, I considered chucking it all. So no offers entertained, and please don't ask. I probably won't reply anyway (and if that-all makes me seem the a-hole, then so be it).
You might notice I'm going a tad over the top with most descriptions and sometimes the amount of photos on many listings. That's solely so you know which end is up. Not gonna hide anything. Any missing artwork, pieces, parts, etc., and/or any real flaws on all items will be noted in plain language and sight in the description panel and of course, in the photos.
I was a nightclub DJ on LawnGuyLand NooYawk back when new wave was new and almost every new wave title I have - vinyl and CD - 95% of 'em - were "working" items. I'll never ever offer for sale any item I wouldn't buy myself, I'd rather just give 'em away or toss 'em in a dumpster. Please see the photos on each new wave/club-use item listed, you'll understand. If CD jewel cases or inner sleeves on vinyl were replaced with new, that will be noted as well. More......
On most of the new wave CD's and vinyl, there's stickers with my hand-written notes (BPM, Artist/Title, version, etc.). It was easier to see that in a dark club/DJ booth than pulling the rekkid itself. I make no apologies for doing the sticker thing - it helped. I know I wasn't the only one doing this kind of thing either.
No warranty expressed or implied on any item offered. All sales final. No returns.
Buyer is responsible for any sales taxes and/or VAT due. Shipping not included in price, be it an auction or fixed price listing.
NewWaveAndProgRockDJ (meaning yours truly) absorbs the cost of cartons/packing material. It might not seem like much, but if you've never sold items before, the cost of padding material, packaging, new CD jewel cases, carton sealing tape and mailing labels, etc., that stuff adds up rather quickly. Also, let's not kid ourselves: Of course that cost is built into the opening bid price. From very early in 2021 to now, the costs of packaging materials has pretty much doubled. So, additional pricing is being built in as part of the shipping cost. Put it this way: A listing selling for $2.99, the direct cost of packaging a CD the proper way is close to half of that. Vinyl: At least half. Then add the cost of going to the post office, 'my time' doing everything, etc. Not making any excuses, this is reality and I have this thing about at least breaking even. Know what I mean ?
And as far as actual packing goes, I'm kinda sorta maybe pretty good at making sure your item(s) leave here with their seat belts properly fastened, seat in the upright position and tray-table secured to the seat in front. Tain't my first rodeo with ye olde shipping/receiving/logistics thing.
NewWaveAndProgRockDJ (again, meaning yours truly) is not responsible for any delays, non-receipt, permanently lost in the bilge of a slow boat to nowhere, nor damage incurred by your items during shipping and transit to you via any carrier. And adding to that:
Here's an important note for international customers: Please be advised that customs departments here and on your end will quite probably open your package for inspection. Once your package is documented as received by our postal service here for transfer to the eBay international system, NWAPRDJ does not and will not assume any responsibility of any kind, financial or otherwise, for any and all delays, issues and/or damages caused by any national or private postal service, customs division or other agency, including contract carriers, that had possession of your package even for a single second.
Re-sellers welcome. If you think my opening bid/fixed pricing makes me seem off my meds - meaning I'm way under what something should go for - please by all means grab it and go for it. It's all good.
Lastly.... To all customers, first-time, occasional, and long-time: If you're bidding on multiple items, of course I'll combine the items to a single transaction, discount shipping, etc. Plus, and if it's a decent total dollar amount and if you're in the continental 48 states of teh choo-ess-aay, I might be a real good guy and cover the overall shipping cost. When you're all set - bid items won - don't complete the transaction(s). Let me know and I'll send you an invoice.
International customers, shipping will also be combined, however, I have no control over the cost there. Sorry. (Note to customers in Canada: As far as I know, there's still a limit of five items per shipment, everything must be declared on a specific form that has no add-on page.)
