Description

"Fountain of Dreams," by Rea Fetzer, released on Soft Touch in the U.S. in 1981. Holy grail outsider synth lounge/AOR pop by young blind keyboard player in Florida. This has it all - music, lyrics, cover design, even the titles to the tracks. The sincerity of the lyrics is utterly wrenching, and the music carries an odd dreaminess and spaciness, a hymnal quality, even some New Wave tangents. A favorite record, and seemingly unknown. I doubt more than a couple hundred copies of this were made. Both vinyl and cover (with original shrinkwrap, opened, intact) in excellent condition. Please note that my scanner cannot capture the entire breadth and width of the record cover.
